Still Life
Employing a technique similar to the fresco style made popular during the Italian Renaissance, Milan uses a mixture of cement and plaster mounted on truncated wooden doors.   Once the surface is intact, he applies acrylics and pigments to create a style of colorful, simplistic forms.   The images in this series are broken down into elemental forms.   They question our perceptions through different perspectives simultaneoulsy presented.
