Employing a technique similar to the fresco style made popular during the Italian Renaissance, Milan uses a mixture of cement and plaster mounted on truncated wooden doors. Once the surface is intact, he applies acrylics and pigments to react to the iconography of the mythological worlds with contemporary interpretations.
